LDX2101 (UNS S32101) is an economical duplex stainless steel containing chromium 21.5%, 锰5%, 镍1.5%, 钼0.45%, corrosion resistance is better than 304L, similar to 316L。In terms of strength and resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, it is superior to conventional 300 series stainless steel。 LDX2101 increases the mechanical strength, and thinner materials per unit area have the same strength, giving full play to the advantage of resource saving and saving material costs for customers。LDX2101 is specially designed to replace 304 and 304L low nickel, general purpose materials。

LDX2101Alloy is precipitated, quenched, martensitic stainless steel, and this grade has high strength, hardness (up to 300 C/5000 C) and corrosion resistance。After heat treatment, the mechanical properties of the product are more perfect, and the compressive strength can reach up to 1100-1300 mpa (160-190 kSi)。This grade is not intended for use above 300 0C (572 0F) or very low temperatures. It has good corrosion resistance to atmospheric and diluted acids or salts, as is the case with 304 and 430。

LDX2101 is a low nickel, nitrogen reinforced, a wide range of applications of economical duplex stainless steel。The structure of austenite and ferrite is in equilibrium under solution annealing, and the composition of austenite and ferrite is roughly equal。
LDX2101 contains high chromium and nitrogen, in addition to the addition of molybdenum, provides excellent local and overall corrosion resistance。Dual - phase structure is the main factor of high strength and chloride stress corrosion cracking resistance。LDX2101 has very high strength and chloride stress corrosion cracking resistance that traditional 300 series stainless steel does not have。
The CORROSION resistance of LDX2101 is generally good, so the material is suitable for a wide range of applications。Its corrosion resistance is superior to 304L stainless steel and comparable to 316L stainless steel containing molybdenum in most conditions。
The mechanical strength of LDX2101 is higher and more excellent than that of the traditional 300 series stainless steel, which makes the thinner materials have the same strength per unit area, giving full play to the advantage of saving resources and saving material costs for customers。

The LDX2101 demonstrates good wear and corrosion resistance and can be manufactured using standard duplex stainless steel manufacturing processes。
