常规特性

Alloy 825 (UNS N08825) is a nickel-ferrichromium austenitic alloy with molybdenum, copper and titanium added。Special corrosion resistance in oxidation and reduction environments。Compared with conventional austenitic stainless steel, the nickel in 825 alloy makes it resistant to chloride stress corrosion, while molybdenum and copper make it quite resistant to corrosion in reducing environment。Chromium and molybdenum components are resistant to chloride spot corrosion and various oxidation environments。Adding titanium makes the material more stable and less susceptible to sensitization during welding。This insensitization property allows the material to resist intergranular corrosion even when exposed to sensitization temperature ranges。825 has good corrosion resistance to a variety of processing environments, including sulfuric acid, sulfite, phosphoric acid, nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid, organic acid and alkali such as sodium, potassium hydroxide, acid chloride, etc。 Alloy 825 is a typical nickel base alloy that is easily shaped and welded by technical processing。

825 alloy has good mechanical properties in low and medium high temperature environment。At temperatures of 1000°F (540°C), the microstructure of the material changes and the ductility and impact strength are significantly reduced。Therefore, 825 alloy is not suitable for use at temperature where creep fracture resistance is considered as a design factor。Alloy 825 can be fully strengthened by cold working。It has good impact strength at room temperature and can maintain this strength at low temperature。

The high nickel content of 825 alloy gives the alloy excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking。However, in the extreme boiling magnesium chloride test, part of the sample will break after a long time immersion。The material has good performance under general test conditions。The following table shows the properties of this material。

Mixed- Stress corrosion cracking occurred in some samples during the test of 2000 hours。The 2000 hour test is an indicator of high corrosion resistance。

抗点腐蚀

The chromium and molybdenum composition of alloy 825 gives the alloy extremely high resistance to chloride point corrosion。Therefore, the material can be used in high concentrations of chloride, such as seawater。It is mainly used to resist pitting corrosion。Compared with ordinary stainless steel such as 316L, 825 has better corrosion resistance。However, the corrosion resistance of 825 is not as good as 6Mo(UNS N08367) and 625(UNS N06625) in seawater applications.。
